aSHE FUND Microgrant
The aSHE FUND microgrant awards $2500.00 to a professional woman of color creative age 18-55 years old who reside in the DC Metropolitan area (DC, MD, VA) to to create, develop and/or complete an artistic project. Women of Color creatives who work in the following disciplines are invited to apply ( visual art, multimedia, writing, mixed media, design, new media, and the performing arts (dance, music, theater, experiemental and conceptual, and performance arts. ) The aSHE FUND micogrant offers spring/summer and fall winter cycles. Applications are reviewed by a review board representing professional women of color creatives working throughout various artistic disciplines.
Having women from my community support this exhibition shows that with the investment, we can freely share our experiences with the world.
